Spring and other things

We celebrated spring by camping this week-end. Friday hit 80 degrees and it was just too good to be true. Emilee had gone to Sara's for spring break so Tom, Jennifer, Taylor and I headed out to James River State Park. We hiked and hiked, looked for tadpoles, watched the big full moon come up over the horizon, played ball, rode bikes, it was just a lot of good outdoor time.

Check out Taylor's new braces and Jennifer's glasses, both girls have accepted their new 'additions' so well.

We got to play with two little mini dac's, little sisters, they camped next to us..so cute. Could there be a little sister in Slinky's future? hmmmm

Visit with Penny (and Sara too :)

Ran to Goochland for a short visit, got to see how fast Penny is growing, so is Nixon. The two of them are such buddies. I was trying to take Penny's picture and she kept looking at the dog. I tried to get her attention, she looked up like what!? I then touched her on the nose to try to make her laugh and she screamed her head off lol. She was all smiles and cooing to me but she wouldn't let me hold her. Even though she was mean to me, and made me admire her from afar, I still enjoyed my visit with her mom and the whole Brown menagerie.
