Field Trips - part 1

Today Taylor had her field trip, it was to a safari park not too far away. The day was bright and sunny and the first grades went on a grand adventure that included a wagon rid thru the 'savannah'. Taylor worried about the little dear who would follow along and get pushed back by the large llamas, camels, reindeer, etc. so she finally figured how to sneak a snack to a little friend. I just had to take a picture of Taylor and her teacher, Ms.Meagan, who loves the the kids so much, she really is a great teacher :)

Crazy girls

Spring break at Myrtle Beach. The weather is beautiful, the water is still cold. Can't convince two water loving 'princess mermaids' (their words, not mine). They played in the water til Taylor's lips were blue and Jennifer was shaking with cold. After warming up we went to Bingo at the rec center where several hundred people were playing bingo (we live life on the edge). Taylor won a game and came home with an 8-pack of Reece's cups. She says she's saving some for Emilee because she knows they are her favorite. We hit the outlet stores this morning, Penny, you've got some summer outfits coming your way :) Tomorrow, ceramics class at the beach - does it get any better than this?

Picnic'ing with Penny

I needed to see for myself how fast Penny is growing and Taylor was having a fit to see Nixon lol, so we met Chuck, Sara, Penny and Nixon at a VA state park for a picnic. They decided to make a real fun time of it and camp there. It started out as a rainy day but by the time we all met the sun had come out and it was a beautiful day :) We ate and then the guys decided to try a little fishing while we took the girls to the playground by the "beach". Lots of fun in the sun, Penny graced me with letting her hold her this time so I got in a few hugs and kisses when she wasn't looking ;)

Princess Dance Camp

Jennifer has wanted to participate in an activity since Taylor takes hip-hop and also has signed up to play co-ed baseball. So today was her day - Princess Dance Camp. She, along with another 10 or 11 girls, participated at Princess Dance Camp. She learned some dance moves, heard princess stories, made princess crafts, played princess games. So, basically, she got to be a princess :)
